Facebook Accounts

Managing connected Facebook accounts and their ad accounts: connection, statuses, balances, agent assignment.

Access

AdminNoneManagerNoneTeam Lead BuyerOwnBuyerOwn

Available to buyers and team leads. The token does NOT auto-refresh — on “Token Expired” the account must be reconnected manually.

Screen blocks

  • Accounts list — Name, ID, ad accounts, status, agent, Spend, key-renewal date, connection date.
  • Connect new FB account — OAuth via the Facebook Auth Proxy → ad accounts are pulled after saving.
  • Ad account editing — assign an agent to compute commission on spend.
  • Analytics tab — a second tab with a Facebook-Ads-only analytics table — spend, impressions, reach, CPC, CTR, CPM, clicks, leads, registrations, purchases, video views… from the Facebook Ads API. Pick a date range, filters and columns.
  • Bundles — saved sets of highlighting rules for the analytics table; they color metric cells so good and bad performance stand out. Create, edit, delete and apply from the Bundles button.

Statuses

  • Active — the account is healthy.
  • Token Expired — access token expired — reconnect the account manually.
  • Session Expired — the Facebook session ended — re-authorize.
  • Checkpoint Required — Facebook requires a checkpoint / verification on the account.
  • Password Changed — the Facebook password was changed — reconnect.
  • Unknown Error — unidentified error reported by Facebook.

Scenario — «Connect an account and put it under commission»

  1. “Connect new FB account” → complete Facebook OAuth.
  2. After saving — open the pulled ad accounts.
  3. Assign an agent (social level or a specific ad account).
  4. Watch the “Date to renew the key” column to reconnect before it breaks.

Good to know

  • Only the account owner is notified about token expiry (not the whole team).
  • While the token is expired new Facebook spend isn't pulled; history stays.
  • Agent priority: ad-account's own agent → social account's agent → none (commission $0).
  • “Not connected” (tracker-only) ≠ “Disabled” (in CRM, disabled by Facebook).
  • Two ways to connect: Redirect (this browser goes to Facebook — use when already logged into the right account) or Copy link (a link to open on another device, e.g. the buyer's phone).
  • Reconnect validates identity — authorizing a different Facebook user fails; the token must belong to the same Facebook User ID.
  • The “Checked” column is a read-only verification status from Facebook, flagging accounts under review or needing attention.
  • Individual ad accounts also carry their own Facebook statuses (Active, Unsettled, Pending Risk Review, In Grace Period, Disabled, Closed…) and disable reasons — all read-only, mirrored from Facebook.
  • An analytics Bundle rule watches a metric, sets whether lower or higher is better, the lower / upper thresholds that decide the color, and the drill-down levels it applies on.
  • Bundles are visual aids over the same Facebook data — they never change any numbers.
